The User Testing of the Private Representation Platform project of the Public Curator of Québec aims to validate the understanding, usability, and clarity of the new online platform dedicated to private representation. This initiative seeks to ensure that citizens can easily understand the information, legal provisions, and terminology used throughout their digital journey.
To achieve this objective, the project team designed an interactive prototype in Figma that reproduces the main features and interfaces of the future platform. This prototype serves as the foundation for user testing, enabling the observation of participants’ behaviors, perceptions, and potential friction points as they interact with the platform.
Testing sessions, conducted with citizens representative of the target audiences, aim to collect qualitative data on the clarity of the content, the logic of the navigation structure, and the ease with which users can complete the proposed steps. The observations and feedback gathered will inform improvements to the interface, vocabulary, and user journeys in order to ensure a smooth, accessible experience aligned with the Public Curator’s mission of support and guidance.
In summary, this project contributes to optimizing the digital private representation platform by placing citizens’ needs and understanding at the center of the design process. It is part of a co-creation and continuous improvement approach that aims to deliver a clear, inclusive, and accessible user experience for all.
